Randolph "Randy" W. Hoover

Randolph W. "Randy" Hoover, 56, of Sioux City passed away Monday, June 9, 2008, at his residence.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in Graceland Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Randy was born Nov. 26, 1951, in Sioux City, to Niles and Vivian (Altimus) Hoover. He received his education at Woodrow Wilson and was proud to come from the South Bottoms here in Sioux City. His caregiver and family described him as loving and caring. He will be dearly missed by many.

He is survived by his brothers and their wives, Niles and Pat Hoover Jr. of Lakewood, Calif., and Cavanall and Carole Hoover of Sioux City; sisters, Ruth A. Thoene of South Sioux City and Carolyn and her husband, Daniel Sitzmann of Sioux City; numerous nieces and nephews; and his caregiver, Jenny Foster of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
