LaRene Hisey

LaRene Hisey, 84, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.

There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

LaRene was born April 12, 1925, in Atlantic, Iowa, to Edward and Dorothy (Rapp) Jones. She married Bob Hisey.

She loved spending time with her family. She also loved being around and talking to people. She also loved bingo.

She is survived by her son, Randy; daughter, Katie and her husband, David Olson; granddaughters, Becky Vogel and her husband, Rein, Lori Olson and Jennifer Shumansky and her husband; a sister, Joann; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robbie; parents; stepmother, Irene Jones; and a sister, Jean LaBrune.
