SIOUX CITY -- Linda R. Hilterbrand, 59, of Sioux City died Monday, June 22, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Brent Hilterbrand officiating. Following the service Friday, the body will be cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Linda was born Dec. 7, 1949, in Sheridan, Wyo., the daughter of Virginia (Leis) and William Burgess. She was married to Kenneth L. Hilterbrand on Nov. 28, 1985, in Casper, Wyo.
She was a very loving mother and devoted housewife. She enjoyed baking, animals, embroidery, flowers, gardening, the outdoors and fishing. She had a special tenderness in her heart for children. She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Hilterbrand of Sioux City; her mother, Virginia Burgess of Sheridan, Wyo.; two daughters, Ruth Foster of Minneapolis and Sandra Dayton of Dayton, Ohio; four sons, Clyde Sanders of Lander, Wyo., Maurice Sanders of Hendersonville, Nev., Robert Sanders of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Brent Hilterbrand of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers; and a sister.
She was preceded in death by her father; a sister; and a brother.
