William Edward Hilsinger

William Bill Edward Hilsinger, 59, of North Sioux City, SD, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at McCook Cemetery in McCook Lake, SD.

Bill was born on May 5, 1949 in Sioux City to James Sr. and Lorraine (Garrett) Hilsinger. He grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City Schools. Bill worked as a certified welder at Royal Iron for 22 years. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and was very talented in his wood working skills. Bill loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed taking care of his yard.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra Hilsinger, daughter, Jackie Quinn and husband Glen, granddaughter, Amanda (Mandy) Clay and husband George, great grandchildren, Tyler, Callie and Joey Clay all of North Sioux City, SD, brother, James Hilsinger of South Sioux City, NE, 3 sisters, Bev Treglia of South Sioux City, NE, Pauline Geotken of Yankton, SD, and Patty ONeal of Whiting, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Hilsinger and a sister, Barb Lorker.

Serving as, honorary pallbearers will be Benny Barnes, James (Tuna) Pagen, Tom Clark, Danny Frazee, Troy Rosenbaum, Mike Rosenbaum, Ronald Spike, Kent Teitjen, Floyd Curl, Brett Hoss and Bob Klunt.
