Lynette Hanson, 42, of Sioux City died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at her residence.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Leo Kostizen of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Lynette was born April 28, 1965, in Racine, Wis., the daughter of Larry and Marilyn (Reader) Johnson. She married James Hanson on Sept. 15, 1985, in Kenosha, Wis. She was the director of the Calico Kids Preschool.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was a soccer mom.
Survivors include her husband, James of Sioux City; two sons, Jacob and Ryan Hanson, both at home; her father, Larry Johnson of Racine, Wis.; her mother, Marilyn and her husband, Dan Keck of St. Charles, Mo.; a sister, Cheryl Smiddy of Garland, Texas; paternal grandmother, Grace Van Aacken of Phelps, Wis.; and her father-in-law, the Rev. Richard Hanson and his wife, Barbara of Peoria, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ed and Elsie Reader; paternal grandfather, Garnet Johnson; and her mother-in-law, Karin Hanson.
Memorials may be directed to the Calico Kids Preschool in Sioux City.
