A.Nancy A. (Calfior) Hansen, 80, of Sioux City died unexpectedly Friday, March 14, 2008, at her residence.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Nancy was born June 18, 1927, in Sioux City to James and Charlotte (Roberts) Calfior. She graduated from Central High School in 1946.
She married Donald Hansen on May 22, 1954, in Sioux City. Nancy worked in production for Zenith, and she waitressed for 13 years at Marty's Tap. She also bartended at the V.F.W., where she was very involved with the V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nancy enjoyed going to bingo, spending time with her friends and family and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her involvement with the V.F.W.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Hansen of Sioux City; a son, Robert (Kathy) Pilgram of Sioux City; three daughters, Gayle Pilgram of Sioux City, Suzanne Quinn of Sioux City and Jamie (Scot) Miller of South Sioux City; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia Ann (Pilgram) Bishop; two brothers; and a sister.
Pallbearers will be Randi Stender, John B. Fleming, John R. Fleming, Scot Miller, Jon Lais, Dennis Lais and Bill
