Lueda N. Hall

SIOUX CITY -- Lueda N. Hall, 80, of Sioux City passed away peacefully Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Westwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Lueda was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Remsen, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Minnie (Werthman) Steffen. She was married to Sam Brewer, who played for the Sioux City Soos baseball team. She worked for the Sioux City Stationery Co. and Verstegen Printing.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include seven children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters; and a brother.
