Bill C. Hall

Funeral services for Bill C. Hall, 80 of Hubbard, NE will be on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave.) Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. with family present at the funeral home. Military Graveside Rites will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Bill passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Douglas County Health Center in Omaha, NE.

Bill was born on May 29, 1929 in Sioux City to William D. and Lula (Smith) Hall. He graduated from Central High School in Sioux City. Bill served his country in the US Army. Bill was a cattle and grain farmer for over 60 years and was also a commercial truck driver during that time. He was a past member of the Eagles Club, VFW in South Sioux City, NE and the Teamsters. He loved visiting the ocean.

Bill was married to LaVern Monk and to this union 4 children were born, Billy Hall of Florida; Lorraine Hahn of Omaha, NE; Jennifer Leifeld of Petersburg, NE; and Byron Hall of Hubbard, NE; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Bill is survived by his 4 children and was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
