Phillip C. Haley

SIOUX CITY -- Phillip C. Haley, 51, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at a local care facility following a courageous battle with cancer.

Services will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Floyd E. Brown officiating. Visitation will begin 10:30 a.m. Tuesday prior to the services at the funeral home.

Phillip was born on Sept. 5, 1957, in Chicago, Ill., to Ulysses and Ethel (Clark) Haley. Following his education, Phillip worked several jobs before joining a roofing crew, the job which he enjoyed most.

Phillip is survived by his sisters, Valerie Haley and Marie Haley of Sioux City; and a brother, Jerrold Haley and his wife, Marcella of Sioux City.
