Eileen P. Haefs

Eileen P. Haefs, 86, of Sioux City died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at Countryside Senior Living.

Eileen was born July 18, 1922, in Sioux City, the daughter of Walter and Gladys (Larsen) Haefs. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. She was an insurance underwriter for New York Life Insurance Company for 25 years, retiring in 1989.

She had been a member of Westlawn Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a sister, Bonnie McEveny of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
