Bonadean M. Green, 80, of Sioux City died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at a Sioux City nursing home.
Services were 2 p.m. Saturday April 21, 2007 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with Chaplain Lorna Peters officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery, Moville, Iowa. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Mrs. Green was born May 30, 1926, in Moville, Iowa, the daughter of Carl A. and Lena D. (Wink) Peterson.
She married Joseph H. Green on May 24, 1958, in Dakota City. He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1985. She was a supervisor at the QA department for IBP.
She was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Foresters.
Survivors include a son, James Green of Sioux City and his special friend, Dale Ehloff; three sons-in-law, Richard Johnson of Sergeant Bluff, Bob Nielsen of Sioux City and Dale Hanson of Sioux City; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Burt Linscott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Charles; three daughters, Veradean, Carole Dean and Judydean; and a brother, Carl Petersen.
