SIOUX CITY -- Frank K. Glick, 53, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at his residence.
Memorial services will be 9 a.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Frank was born Nov. 3, 1956, in Cherokee, Iowa, the son of Francis X. and LouAnn (Bumann) Glick. He attended Briar Cliff College and Iowa State University.
On April 17, 1982, he married Pamela S. Kroger in Sioux City. He had worked for Cargill and then with Gelita U.S.A. until the present time.
Frank was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and boating. Recently, he became interested in Frisbee golf. Besides his love of reading, his dogs, Angus and Duke, were dear to him.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; four children, Melissa Anderson of Elk Grove, Calif., Tiffany Glick, Justin Glick and Garrett Glick, all of Sioux City; his mother, LouAnn Glick of Sioux City; his father, Francis Glick of Mapleton, Iowa; and four sisters, Connie Swander of Charlotte, Mich., Suzie Fredette and her husband, Brian of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Brenda Huseman of Sioux City, and Angie Dixon and her husband, Kenny of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Francis Jr.
Memorials may be directed to Garrett's college tuition in care of the family.
