Jocelyn Gilchrist, 97, of Sioux City died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at Countryside Senior Living.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2008, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Alva F. Hohl Jr. of First Congregational United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Jocelyn Gilchrist was born July 14, 1910, in Sioux City, the daughter of William F. and Lulu J. (Kelly) Gilchrist. She attended Brownell Academy in Omaha. She had lived in Sioux City for most of her life. She was a supporter of the arts, wildlife conservation and public broadcasting.
Survivors include her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
