Bridget T. Gatto

JEFFERSON, S.D. -- Bridget T. Gatto, 50, of rural Jefferson passed away Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, at her residence.

Abiding by her wishes, the body has been cremated. No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Bridget lived with her husband, Donn, in McCook Lake, S.D., for 15 years, before moving to Iowa City, Iowa. In 2009, the couple decided to move back to South Dakota.

She enjoyed camping, fishing and boating.

She is survived by her husband, Donn; her three Dachshunds; her mother, Bobbi Meeks of Port Washington, Wis.; a sister, Toni and her husband, Mike Bultman and their three daughters of Port Washington; her brother, Todd Meeks and his wife, Connie and their two boys of West Bend, Wis.; and her nephew, Shawn Nieman and his wife, Ellen of Green Bay, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Lonnie Meeks.
