Madeline Mary Force, 89, of Sioux City died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at her residence.

Madeline was born May 20, 1918, in Bow Valley, Neb., the daughter of Joseph and Maria Luise (Hess) Heine.
She married Robert Force on June 25, 1938, at St. Boniface Catholic Church Rectory in Sioux City. Madeline was a homemaker. She loved to cook and bake.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Nordic Male Chorus Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; a son, Ronald W. Force and his wife, JoEllen of Moscow, Idaho; three daughters, Judith M. Sigler and her husband, Lee of Bella Vista, Ark., Barbara A. Stansbury and her husband, Darrell of Sioux City and Ellen L. Force and her husband, Jim Kalkwarf of Des Moines; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.
