Charles L. Dunnick

Charles L. "Chuck" Dunnick, 52, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at a local hospital following a brief illness.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Chuck was born on June 4, 1954, in Sioux Center, Iowa, a son of Donald and Wilma (De Ross) Dunnick.

He married Nancy A. (Heller) Tyler on Sept. 15, 2006, in Elk Point, S.D. Chuck had been a resident of Sioux City for nearly 20 years and had also been a truck driver for over 25 years.

Chuck loved Harleys. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; a son, Dana Dunnick and special friend, Robin of San Marcus, Texas; a daughter, Damion Mustered and special friend, Bob of Red Rock, Texas; two stepsons, Donnie Meeves and special friend, Heather and Kenny Hanika, all of Sioux City; three stepdaughters, Julie Bartolozzi and special friend, Richard N., Gaylene Meeves and special friend, Shane, all of Sioux City and Rea Gonzalez and husband, Cruz of Acuna, Mexico; a brother, Butch Dunnick and wife, Pat of Windom, Minn.; two sisters, Blanche Meyer and husband, Nick of Westbrook, Minn. and Jackie Conrad and husband, Jim of Cherry Valley, Calif.; three sisters-in-law, Gloria Dunnick of Sheldon, Iowa, Rosemary McKinley and husband, Earl of Dakota City and Judy Smith and husband, Paul of Sioux City; 21 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Clairniel Dunnick and Donald Dunnick.
