Dale T. Dugdale, 77, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Roger Madden of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dale T. Dugdale was born Nov. 26, 1930, in Modale, Iowa, to Harold and Margaret (Southern) Dugdale.
He married Marjorie Kross on Feb. 8, 1951, in Missouri Valley, Iowa. He served in the Korean Conflict. After he was discharged, he worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad as a telegrapher in Missouri Valley. They moved to Sioux City and he went to work for the U.S.P.S. for 38 years and retired.
After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening and billiards.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; two daughters and three sons, Patti (Keith) Swanson, Mike Dugdale, Steve (Jill) Dugdale, Vince and Connie Dugdale; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Harold, Lloyd, Gordon and Robert.
He loved his family and pets and will be greatly missed.
