Joyce Louise (Eberle) DeHaan, 81, of Sioux City died Tuesday, July 22, 2008.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008 at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Joyce was born April 19, 1927 in Sioux City, the daughter of William C. and Luella G. Eberle. She attended Leeds High School. She and her family operated Joyce's Cafe, later Bill & Joy's Cafe on Pierce Street in the 1950s and early 1960s. She worked throughout her life at various local restaurants, including the Tail N Ale and Norby's. Joyce loved horses and spent many years as a trainer at Park Jefferson.
Survivors include a daughter Linda, a niece Shelley Olson of Sioux City and a nephew Victor Eberle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother William H. Eberle of Dakota Dunes and sons, Kenneth William and Gary Russell.
