Patrick C. Connolly

SIOUX CITY -- Patrick C. Connolly, 58, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Merlin Schrad officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be in Calvary Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Patrick C. Connolly was born March 11, 1952, in Sioux City, the son of Darrell and Tibby (Keeley) Connolly. He graduated from Heelan High School in 1970 and then Briar Cliff College. He worked at various jobs and was a painting contractor.

Pat loved art and was himself a good artist.

Survivors include a sister, Mary J. King and her husband, David of Dubuque, Iowa; and three nieces, Kerry King of Stockton, Calif., Maggie King of Chicago, and Bridget King of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom.
