SIOUX CITY -- Julie A. Clapper, 52, of Sioux City died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at her residence.
A celebration of life service will be 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010 in the fellowship hall at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3204 South Lakeport Road. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.
Julie was born Feb. 17, 1958, in Sioux City, to John and Doloris (Rask) Schonrock. She graduated from high school in 1977. She later obtained her L.P.N. She was employed as an L.P.N. at Matney Morningside Retirement Home.
In her free time, she loved to sing karaoke, play cribbage, bake with her grandchildren, tell jokes and take care of everyone.
Survivors include a daughter, Misty Ericson of Sioux City; two sons, Justin and Blake Schonrock, both of Sioux City; a stepdaughter, Bonnie Gagnon of Sioux City; two stepsons, Fred and Christopher and his wife, Tasha Gagnon; three brothers, Oscar, LeRoy and his wife, Kim Schonrock, and Art and Louise Schonrock, all of Sioux City; a sister, Vivian Sherlock of South Sioux City; two grandchildren, October and Micallie; and more stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John; a daughter, Cascandra; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Allie.
