Silvia Carrillo

SIOUX CITY -- Silvia Carrillo, 53, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a vigil service at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Hewitt officiating, at Nelson-Berger Northside Funeral Home.

Silvia was born Oct. 1, 1956, in Tijuana, Mexico, the daughter of Alberto Smith Ojeta and Petra Smith Carrillo. She married Federico Bermudes.

Survivors include her husband, Federico; children, Freddy Rodriguez-Carrillo, Victor Carrillo, Juan Alberto Carrillo, Julie Marie Carrillo, Manuel Carrillo and Raul Carrillo; and grandsons and granddaughters, Jenny Rodriguez, Yuraima Olan, Juan Carrillo Jr. and Freddy Cristopher Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
