SIOUX CITY -- Deborah M. Buschelman, 55, of Sioux City died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital from complications following a surgery.
Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral Home.
Deborah was born April 18, 1954, in Sioux City, to Joseph and Helen (Oakie) Hirocke Sr. She graduated from Vermillion (S.D.) High School in 1972 and attended college in Des Moines. She was employed at Tyson Foods as a shipping clerk.
Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and going for drives. She had an infectious smile and was very quick to laugh. She was known as "Little Grandma" to many.
Survivors include her husband, Roger of Sioux City; daughters, Andrea "Andi" Iddings of Vermillion, S.D., and Miranda Rydstrom and her husband, Dusty of Killeen, Texas; her grandchildren, Taylor, Merragin, Nevaeh and Jeric; her sisters, Nadine Burow of Yankton, S.D., JoAnn Mentzer of Ponca, Neb., Rose Hirocke of Vermillion and Ella Hirocke of Gayville, S.D.; her brothers, Raymond and Michael Hirocke of Massachusetts, Joe Hirocke Jr. of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and an even larger extended family than most.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Les and Clifford Hirocke and Gordon Horn Eagle; a sister, Delores "Tiny" Druppeau; and a nephew, Mark.
