Michael Ray Bowles, 36, of Sioux City died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Michael Ray Bowles was born Dec. 2, 1971, in Forest City, Ark., the son of Maxine Bowles and James LaFleur. He graduated from Earle High School in Earle, Ark. in 1990. He then attended ITT in Memphis, Tenn. for two years for computers. He was employed with Smith Cleaning in Sioux City.
He loved fishing, shooting pool, riding motorcycles and tinkering with electronics.
Survivors include his parents, Maxine and James LaFleur; his fiancee, Marla Harris; three grandmothers, Sharon Harrison, Lois LaFleur and Shirley Bowles; two brothers, Bruce James "BJ" LaFleur and Richard LaFleur; a half brother, Ottice "CD" Bowles; a sister, Karena Kay Trojillo; a half sister, Tabitha Michelle Bowles Johnson; six aunts; six uncles; two great-aunts; four great-uncles; six nephews; five nieces; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers; three great-grandfathers; two great-grandmothers; two great-uncles; and two second cousins.
