JoLynne Ida Bolles, 69, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Emmett Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. JoLynne was born April 23, 1938, in Sioux City, the daughter of Mace and Mildred (Menefee) Sanderson. She grew up in the Siouxland area and graduated from Correctionville (Iowa) High School in 1956.
She was united in marriage to Charles F. Bolles on Oct. 5, 1957. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last October. She raised two daughters and settled in Sioux City in 1967. She worked at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and retired after 36 and half years from Mercy Medical Center in 2003.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; two daughters, Holly and her husband, Kevin Meyer of Omaha and Wendy Lefler and her companion Ron Bogenrief of Sioux Falls, S.D.; grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla and Taylor Meyer and Amanda Lefler; five brothers and their wives, Phillip and Joyce Sanderson of Hornick, Iowa, Ronald and Audrey Sanderson of Forest City, Iowa, Jerry and Wendy Sanderson of Marshalltown, Iowa, Mike and Charm Sanderson of Sioux City and Tim and Patti Sanderson of Anthon, Iowa; a sister and her husband, Mary and Roger Luth of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Ada Via of Sioux City; and a brother-in-law, Duane Bolles of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mace and Mildred Sanderson; and three brothers, Gail, Richard and Robert Sanderson.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Meyer, Ron Bogenrief, Kyle Meyer, Taylor Meyer, Phillip Sanderson and Ron Sanderson.
