Grace M. Berglund, 84, of Sioux City died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dan Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Berglund was born March 12, 1923, in Minter, Minn., the daughter of George and Sarah (Dukek) Farrell. She attended a country school in Minnesota.
She married Roy Berglund on Aug. 22, 1942, in Macintosh, Minn. She was employed with Swift Creamery for 16 years, Prodenco for nine years and the last 17 until 2005, was owner and operator of Bergies Bar in Sioux City.
She loved to play cards, work in her yard and loved her cat, Lucy.
Survivors include two daughters, Jolene and her special friend, Rick of Sioux City and Karen and her husband, Bob Weaver of Pierson, Iowa; a brother, George Farrell Jr. of Enskline, Minn.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters.
