Orrill T. Bagshaw

WICHITA, Kan. -- Orrill T. Bagshaw, 87, of Wichita passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at her son's residence in Sioux City.

She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Memorial services will be at a later date in Wichita. Local arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Orrill was born April 4, 1924, in Wichita, the daughter of Claude and Leona Butterfield. She attended Wichita North High School and received her general education diploma at the age of 60. She was employed with Boeing, TG&Y, and Leekers Foods, where she worked in the pharmacy. She taught Sunday School at Calvary Missionary Church, where she was a member for many years.

She married Raymond A. Bagshaw on Aug. 20, 1942, in Wichita, where they had four children, Raymond, Richard, Donna and Danna.

She and her husband traveled throughout the country, visiting family and friends. She especially enjoyed visiting their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Raymond (Bonnie) Bagshaw, Richard (Linda) Bagshaw, and Donna (Don) Scholfield; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters; and many loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Louise Butterfield; two brothers, Claude Austin and James Butterfield; a daughter, Danna Bagshaw; and a grandson, Benjamin Bagshaw.
