SIOUX CITY -- Arlyne J. Atz, 93, of South Sioux City, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at Regency Square Care Center.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Garretson, S.D. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel has assisted with the arrangements.
Arlyne was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Garretson, S.D., to Jalmer and Adelia (Roenau) Johnson. The family moved to Sioux City in 1918, where Arlyne received her education. She worked for a couple years at the Great American Fishing Supply Corporation before joining the staff at Dura-Pak Corporation, where she worked as a secretary for 32 years before her retirement.
On Aug. 1, 1940, Arlyne married Arthur L Atz in Madison, Neb.
She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Railroad Trainmen and the Azure Chapter of the Eastern Star.
