BRONSON, Iowa -- Vivien Attrill of Spokane, Wash., formerly of Bronson and Plymouth County, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 16, 2008.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd., in Sioux City.
Vivien McIntyre was born in Bronson on Nov. 3, 1921. She graduated from Bronson High School and attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis for one year.
She married Harry Attrill in 1941. She was a busy wife and homemaker on their Plymouth County farm. She moved to Spokane, Wash., in 2000 to live near her daughter, Colleen and her family.
She taught Sunday School and visited shut-ins while attending First Assembly of God Church. Later, the couple became member of Central Assembly of God Church. After retirement, the couple traveled in their fifth wheel to Arizona and around the country to visit friends and family. She was a life long poet, finding inspiration in the Lord, nature and all that surrounded her.
Survivors include two daughters, Jan (Bill) Robinson of Prosper, Texas, and Colleen (Linn) Fyhrie of Spokane; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; a sister, Betty White; and a brother, Dale McIntyre.
