SIOUX CITY -- Patrick W. Angelo, 28, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave., with Pastor David Miller of Southern Hills Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation, with the family present, will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service.

Patrick was born Aug. 21, 1981, in Millington, Tenn., to Michael Peter Angelo and Rhonda Richards. He graduated from Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn with the class of 2000, and was a football captain his senior year. He attended Story's Taxidermy, Iowa Western Community College and Wayne State College obtaining certification in water fowl and fish mounts, associate's degree in small business management and bachelor's degree in business administration. While working toward his degrees, his internship was completed at Wal-Mart. Upon graduation, Patrick completed Wal-Mart Management Training in Mason City, Iowa, and became part of the management team.

Patrick was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and outdoor photography. He was a collector of turkey and duck calls and duck decoys. He enjoyed composing music on his electric guitar.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Rhonda Lawrence of Mapleton, Iowa; father, Michael Peter Angelo and stepmother, Robin of Chesapeake, Va.; 8-month-old son, Dominick Michael Angelo of South Sioux City, Neb.; sister, Kate Marie Reynolds of Treynor, Iowa; 8-year-old brother, Joseph Robert Angelo of Chesapeake; and many aunts and uncles.

Patrick was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Brett; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Pruitt; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Angelo.
