Ethelmaye R. Anderson, 56, of Sioux City died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Alex Washington officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ethelmaye was born May 9, 1950, in Sioux City, the daughter of Edward Herman and Gert (Hanshaw) Pranke. She attended school in Jefferson, S.D.
She married Wyman Anderson on Sept. 29, 1983, in Elk Point, S.D. She was employed as a cookie packer for Interbake Foods, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of A.F.G. She loved to camp and was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club. In her free time, she loved to make Indian jewelry. She was a 25-year member of Al-Anon.
Survivors include her husband, Wyman Anderson; and three sisters, Gertrud and her husband, Bob Paul of Sioux City, Dorothy Marston of Sioux City and Mary Jo and her husband, Richard DeRochie of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Florence Goodwin and Gwendolyn Ross; and two brothers, Edwin Pranke and Edward Pranke.
