Dorothy F. (Karr) Hanson, 85, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, at Embassy Rehabilitation and Care Center in Sergeant Bluff.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Dan Anderson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.
Dorothy was born May 19, 1922, in Mapleton, Iowa, to Chas and Addie (Chedester) McGraw.
She loved her children and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her children, Paul C. Karr Jr. of Denver, Colo., James Karr and his wife, Karen of Armour, S.D., Dennis Karr and his wife, Mary of Denver, Colo., Jerome Karr and his wife, Dee of Vallejo, Calif., Margie Jeannie Long of Sergeant Bluff and Michael Karr and his wife, Pam of Sioux City; 23 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Karr and Oscar Hanson; her parents; and a daughter, Judith Cameron.
