Adam Kunkel, 52, of Sioux City, IA, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at his residence.
Adam was born November 30, 1970 in Sioux City, to James and Debra (Russell) Kunkel.
Adam loved to build and be outside, which includes building a pigeon coop for his birds which he used to do with his father when he was younger. Adam loved to dance and watch movies. But nothing compared to going to animal swaps and eating junk food with his dog Bueford. Adam was a very strong, high prided man, he wouldn’t let anything bring him down, as people would say he was “invincible.” Adam was a very religious man, he could cite any verse of the bible he felt fitted the situation. He always had a good heart and made sure everyone was taken care of.
Survivors include his siblings, Penny (James) Fannon of Fremont Nebraska, Stacy Kunkel of Sioux City, and Troy (Megan) kunkel of Sioux City, significant other, Myriah Fetterman, his step children, son Dayton Fetterman, of PortsMouth Virginia , and his daughter, Nevaeh Fetterman, of Sioux City. He has 4 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and great-niece.
Adam is preceded in death by his father James Kunkel of Sioux City, his mother Debra Kunkel (Russell) of Sioux City, and his best dog buddy Hunter.
