Alexander Esteves, 64, of South Sioux City, formerly of Worcester, Massachusetts, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Alexander was born in Worcester, MA, and following his graduation from North High School in Worcester, he went into the United States Marine Corps. He served in Okinawa, Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines.
Following his service in the Marine Corps, Alexander worked as an iron worker full time, helping to build the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant, while he earned his degree in Economics from Boston University where he graduated in 1988.
He wanted to become a defense attorney after watching Perry Mason, and earned his law degree from New England School of Law in 1991. Alexander was a talented writer and had three articles published in legal journals. He worked as a defense attorney in Boston and Sioux City. Alexander had a big personality that filled the room and a tremendous sense of humor. Alexander enjoyed writing poetry and being creative in the kitchen.
He is survived by his son, Nicolas; and his wife, Jill.
