Amanda (Schumann) Perea (age 31), of Sioux City, IA, born April 28, 1989 in Sioux City, IA to Theresa Schumann passed away peacefully on May 19th at Mercy Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at Meyer Brothers, Morningside on Tuesday, May 26th from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Amanda was baptized in the First Lutheran Church in Kingsley, IA, attended Joy Elementary, East Middle School and graduated from East High School in 2007.
She married Noe Perea on April 28, 2017 in Sioux City, IA.
She really enjoyed meeting new friends and visiting with customers while she worked at Wendy’s, Fareway and McDonalds.
Amanda loved spending time with family-teasing Zach and Austin, listening to music, grilling out, swimming and going to concerts. She loved her husband Noe and learning the Spanish traditions from his family. She was an outspoken Atlanta Falcons football fan.
Amanda is survived by her husband Noe Perea (Sioux City, IA), her mother Theresa Schumann (Sioux City, IA), Grandmother DeEtte Larson, her aunts and uncles-Diane and Gene Rollefson, Brad and Anita Schumann, Robert Schumann, Renae and Scott Hoyle, Rhonda Miller, Jim Miller and Joey Miller.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Ernene and Duane Pokett, Grandpa Ron Schumann and her uncle Bill Schumann.
