Andrianna Kay "Ann" Gifford

Andrianna Kay “Ann” Gifford, 74 of South Sioux City, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her home, comforted by family.  A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 a.m.  Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation, with the family present will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com

Andrianna Kay “Ann” Gifford, 74, of South Sioux City passed away on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at her home, comforted by family.

Ann was born on July 14, 1947, to Roy Lund and Lucille Overhulser.

Ann loved spending time with her kids and her puppies. She loved talking with people, especially if they had a dog – she just loved petting puppies. She was always eager to talk about her kids and grandkids to anyone she talked to. Anyone that knew or even just interacted with Ann knew she had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. For many years Ann would house and feed kids that were down on their luck. Ann loved going and being a part of the Kingdom of Riverssance and any event that her son Sir Robert would put on.

It would take days to fully describe how great she was or how passionate she was about her family.

She is survived by seven kids Mary Hogan (Dean) of Sioux City, Pam Gifford of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Margrate Gifford of Siouxland, Robert Gifford of South Sioux City, Willard Gifford of Lyons, Neb., Marshall Gifford of South Sioux City, and Troy Gifford of South Sioux City; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one brother Timothy Overhulser of Hawarden, Iowa.

She is preceded in death by her mother Lucille Overhulser; father Roy Lund; husband Larry Gifford; and son Larry Gifford, Jr.

Thank you, Mom, for all the memories and all the love you showed to so many over the years. You will be deeply missed by all.
