Max’s job took them to Holstein, Iowa; Eagle Grove, Iowa; and then to Sioux City, Iowa in 1962 where they raised their six children.  After the youngest went to school, Armeline entered the work force.  She was employed two years for Dr. Cecil Bliss, DDS and then was employed for 29 years at Drs. Roberts, Kissel & Mitchell retiring in 1992. She was on several boards with the Boys and Girls Home.  After retirement she enjoyed traveling with her husband visiting their children and grandchildren and attending Max’s Navy reunions.

Even after Alzheimer’s robbed her of so many things her love of playing the piano never left her.  Armeline was an amazing cook and she will be remembered for her fabulous cinnamon rolls and her beautiful knitted afghans.
