Austin B. Smith

Austin B. Smith, 28 of South Sioux City passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Austin was born the son of Tim and Susan (Phipps) Smith on December 15, 1996 in Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated from South Sioux City High School.

Austin was a jack of all trades kind of guy. He did several trade jobs in the welding, electrical, and construction fields. He also drove truck.

Austin enjoyed being the life of the party. He liked bonfires and cooking, both in the kitchen and on his smoker, and skateboarding and playing video games.

Austin is survived by his son, Jack and daughter, Klay-Cee; mother, Susan Utech; and siblings, Brett (Jennifer) Smith, Brea Smith, Angie Campbell, and Leah Koelker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tim; sister, April; and grandparents.
