Barbara E. "Barb" Audus

Barbara E. “Barb” Audus, 76, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020.  Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Barbara was born the daughter of Patrick and Mary (Windle) Doohen on June 12, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa.  She graduated from Central High School and made Sioux City her home.  

Barb’s pride and joy were her grandchildren.  She loved spending time with them and her family every chance she got.  She enjoyed planting flowers and interior design.  She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed shooting the breeze over a cup of coffee.  

Barb is survived by her children, Mellissa (Luke) Sackett of Sioux City, Sarah (Adam Nosavanh) Sayavong of Jefferson, and Audra Wagner of Colorado; brother, Dave (Linda) Doohen of California; sisters, Alexis Doohen and Donna Doohen of Sioux City;  thirteen beautiful  grandchildren, Jordan, Tylee, Kairo, Kelsey, Amon, John, Amanda, Lindsey, Brittany , Hunter, Demi, Josh and Jake; and six  great-grandchildren, Natalie, Hero,  Saylor, Isaiah ,Bailey, and  Kennedi.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jim Corriveau; two brothers, John and Mike; and six sisters, Dixie, Terri, Ruthie, Dorothy, Evelyn, and Patricia; and great grandchild, Grace Lynn.
