She was married to Ronald D. Bicknell, the love of her life and a man she called her "Boyfriend". They were married 56 years. They were blessed with 4 children. Tonie Procter, Roxanne Bicknell, Darwin Bicknell and John Bicknell. Her legacy lives on through her three children Tonie Procter, Darwin Bicknell, John Bicknell, their spouses and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of her many achievements was finishing her high school diploma and attending Norco Jr College. She worked for Beckmen Electronics for many years and later worked as a teller for First Interstate Bank. Mickey also had a small at home cake business with her dear friend Velda, where many days were spent baking and decorating wedding cakes. This was just another way for her to be creative. Mickey loved to paint and took painting classes while living in Nebraska. She was an avid reader and belonged to book club while she lived in Illinois. Some of her many hobbies included crocheting, quilting and gardening. Mickey was always a farmer at heart. While living in Norco, California she had a very large garden. She raised her own chickens, beef and other livestock. She was an early organic farmer. Mickey enjoyed playing games with her family and friends and while her husband was alive they played marbles with their neighbors every week. Mickey would tell you that her greatest love besides her family would be her love for God. She taught Sunday school in her earlier years and sang in choir. She had a strong faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ and is now in heaven in His presence. She will be missed by her children, her grandchildren and friends, but we are also rejoicing that she is in Heaven.
