Bertha K. Snyder

Bertha K. Snyder, 93, of Sioux City, IA, passed away January 8, 2023 at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Friday, January 13^th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation 1 hour prior at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Bertha was born on March 25, 1929 in Sloan, IA to William and Myrtle (Craig) Boston.  She lived in the Siouxland area all her life and was united in marriage to Russ Snyder on August 3, 1944 in South Sioux City, NE.  She was member of First Christian Church in Sloan and was a past member of Daughters of The Nile, Hathar Temple 30, Eastern Star, Past Matron of Grand Electra Legion Auxiliary.

Those left to honor her memory include her children:  Diane Clemens of Omaha, NE; Linda (Douglas) Talbott of Elk Point, SD; Russell G. (Jeri) Snyder of Sioux City; Patrick W. (Eileen) of Fort Smith, AK; Earl D. (Kathy) of Sioux City; Barry J. (Jane) Snyder of Eloy, AZ; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Peggy and Kathleen; and several brothers and sisters.
