Beverly Jean Berg

Beverly Jean Berg, 63, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at a local care center.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.  Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Dakota City Cemetery.  Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Beverly was born September 3, 1959 in Sioux City, the daughter of Albert “Al” Hines and Mary Lou Gritten.  She graduated from East High School and attended WITCC for nursing.  Beverly married Russell “Russ” Berg and to this union three boys were born.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Survivors include her father:  Al Hines of Sioux City; her three sons:  Derrick (Heidi) Berg of Chatsworth, IA, Justin “Jay” Berg of Sioux City, and Dustin (Nicole) Berg of Sioux City; grandchildren:  Shelby Berg, Sebastian Berg, Saphire Berg, Taylor Claypool, Sierra Berg, Alexis Berg, Alexis Gigaroa, Braxton Gigaroa, Kinsley Berg, and Tatum Berg; great grandchildren:  Damon Berg and Stefan Berg; and brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lou Gritten, brother David Gritten, and husband Russ Berg.
