   Bobbie Jo Lindholm, age 41, passed away on January 7th, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City after a courageous battle with COVID. A Celebration of Life Ceremony is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16th, 2022, at the Homer Community School. Bobbie's funeral will be live streamed at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bo8E3dfcIbw  Visitation with the family present is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7p.m. on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 at Mohr Becker-Hunt Funeral Home, 1431 West 29th Street, in South Sioux City, NE. Pastor Janell Norton will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bobbie Jo’s life. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.    Bobbie Jo was born on May 5th, 1980 in Pender, NE, to parents Robert “Bobby” and Roberta “Bert” Barclay. She graduated from Homer Community School in 1998. She went on to attended WITCC. Bobbie Jo had been employed at ATV in Dakota City, St. Augustine’s Indian Mission, Winnebago Head Start, Barclay Trucking and Little Priest Tribal College where she held several positions until she most recently settled in the Student Services Department. Her interest in developing student potentials was foremost.

   Bobbie Jo was a great wife and a loving mother. She married Michael “Mike” Lindholm on June 23rd, 2001 and to this union a son, Koltyn, was born.

   The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Bobbie Jo. She loved a quiet evening at home with family and a hobby of creating unique individual crafts. She was a beautiful, kind hearted person who enjoyed helping others, and most recently setting up her new home. Her family and friends will always remember her as an outgoing, loving person.

 

   Bobbie Jo is survived by her husband, Michael “Mike”, of Homer; their son Koltyn and his special friend Emma Crampton, at home; her parents, Robert “Bobby” and Roberta “Bert” both of Homer, sister Rebecca “Becca” (Shawn) Klug, of Homer; brother, Beau Barclay (Briana Singer) of Sioux City; Brother-in-law Rick (Debbie) Lindholm of Papillion, Sister-in-law Audra (Bruce) Gasper of Columbus. and in- law’s Doug and Marti Smith of Columbus. Seven nieces: Hope, Miranda, Kalianne, Aiden, Dani, Chantel, Maxine, and a special niece Faith; Four nephews: Lucas, David, Zane and Tyler and 1 great niece and 3 great nephews. And many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

   She is preceded in death by her aunt Lisa Hankins; uncles: Allen Lile and Gary Lyons; sister–in-law, Inga Lindholm; both paternal and maternal grandparents; and several cousins.
