Bonnie L. Davis, 56, of Sioux City, passed away February 23, 2021 at a local hospital. A visitation will be held Friday, February 26 from 4-7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd. Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. Bonnie was born on August 10, 1964 in Sioux City, IA to Fred Sr. and Leona (Saul) Davis. Bonnie grew up in Sioux City and was proud of her Native American heritage. She was a giving woman, always caring deeply for every single person she knew. Bonnie was outspoken, direct, and forthright; unique qualities which drew people in. Her faith was strong and love for God unwavering. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-granddaughter. Bonnie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her humbleness and selflessness will continue to live on through her friends and family.
Those left to honor her memory include her children: Lina Davis, Laiocea Davis, Raleigh Davis and David Davis; grandchildren: Darrion, Jaydon, Joshua, Tatum, Anavae, Joseph, Christian, Justice and Aidan; great-granddaughter, Aliyah; siblings: Lily (Wayne) Medina, Mary Davis, Vanetta (Chad) Flaugh, Debra Sanchez, Fred Davis Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Lena.
