Bonnie E. Magnuson, 65, of Emerson, NE passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018, while surrounded by her family.Celebration of Life will be at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., with the family present at 6:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.Bonnie was born on October 30, 1952 in Wakefield, NE, the daughter of Robert and Irene (Church) Blaker. She attended Emerson-Hubbard High School, raised her two children, and worked at various jobs. She was most recently employed at Michael Foods in Wakefield, NE.She enjoyed spending time with her family including grandchildren, friends, and her animals. She also enjoyed gardening, loved anything outside, and spent many hours fishing and camping.Survivors include her son, Shawn (Shiloh) Magnuson; and daughter, Shalon Magnuson (Cory Meyer) all of Emerson, NE; grandchildren, Cody, Cole, and Tahni Magnuson, Savania Rezac, and Carson Meyer; 3 step-grandchildren, Mercedes, Alex, and Lily King; 1 great-grandson, Jaxon Magnuson; a brother, Gene (Pam) Blaker of Texas; sister-in-law, Shirley Blaker of Elkhorn, NE; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Irene Blaker; and a brother, Robert "Sonny" Blaker.
