Brenda J. Mullins

Brenda J. Mullins, 71, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021.  A memorial visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.  

Brenda Nazworthy was born the daughter of Cap and Ida (Hadding) Gardner on July 21, 1950 in Ames, Iowa.  She was raised in Cambridge, Iowa and graduated from Ballard High School in Huxley.  Brenda married Charles Mullins on August 2, 1985.  She moved around a lot before settling in Sioux City for the last 20 years.

Brenda worked for Gateway and later Wells Blue Bunny until her retirement.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, shopping, puzzles and computer games.  Her love for her family and friends was most important.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Charles Mullins of Sioux City; children, Shannon (Jennifer) Bauge of Sioux City and Shauna Bauge of Sioux City; brothers, Jerry (Marie) Nazworthy, David (Sonya) Nazworthy, Roger Roberts, Charles (Suyeon) Gardner, Rick (Billie) Gardner, and Michael Joe (Marcia) Gardner; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Dusty, Connor, Brad, Jaime, Lexi, Kodey, Ariannah, Nathan, Brett, and Ryne; and great-grandchildren, Dallas, Kinzlee, Trulee, Jaycee, Kaine, Saphira, Kaden, Kaleb, and Malia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shayne; sister, Edna “Muggs”; and two great-grandchildren in infancy.
