Brett Lansing Stidfole, 38, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Sioux City. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Brett was born on August 31, 1983 in Sioux City to Barry and Kathy (Taylor) Stidfole. He graduated from West high School, and went on to serve our country in the United States Marine Corps for four years as a sniper. He then went on to obtain his undergraduate degree from Creighton University in Omaha, and his Masters Degree from Nebraska Methodist College. Brett lived in Sioux City until 2004, then went on to live in Lincoln and Kansas City before settling in Omaha, Nebraska. He was working at the Omaha VA Medical Center as a Wellness Director. He was also a defense contractor overseas. Brett loved sports, fishing, and hanging out with family and friends. He enjoyed going to the shooting range and watching his niece and nephews’ sporting activities. He is survived by his parents, Barry and Kathy Stidfole; his sisters: Melissa Pena (Jesus) and Amanda Worden (Bobby); niece, Aubree Worden; nephews: Braylon Worden, Brexton Pena, and Bryson Pena; and grandmother, Annie Ryba.
