Carol M. Uhl, 71, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Regency Square Care Center in South Sioux City, NE.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, IA. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., with the family present at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer service at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the funeral home.Carol was born in Sioux City, Iowa on February 22, 1944, the daughter of Mark and Eva (McQuin) Dendinger. She grew up in the Hartington, NE area and graduated from Holy Trinity School in Hartington. She married Darrell Jorgensen. To this union two daughters were born. She married Jeff Uhl on May 8, 1976 and to this union one son was born. Carol was a homemaker and worked as a waitress at the Paddock and Marina Inn in South Sioux City.She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her cats, shopping and watching TV.Survivors include her husband, Jeff Uhl of South Sioux City, NE; her children, Deb (Ruben) Ventris of Omaha, NE, Jill (Jeff) Sock of Norfolk, NE and Mark Uhl of South Sioux City, NE; step-children, Deb (Justin) Parry of Eufaula, OK, Randy (Staci) Uhl of Sioux City, IA and Rick Uhl of Sioux City, IA; grandchildren, Lacohn Anderson, Josh Kruger, Treasure Uhl and Caden Uhl; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ayla, Aizlee and Ryken; siblings, Tom (Sue) Dendinger of Norfolk, NE and Lin (Lon) Behmer of Norfolk, NE.Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Eva Dendinger.
