Harriet E. Frank Stevens

Harriet E. (Frank) Stevens, 88 of South Sioux City, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at her daughter’s residence after a long illness.     A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in South Sioux City with Father Michael Keating as Celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation, with the family present, will be this evening, Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Church with a Christian Wake Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Becker-Hunt Funeral Home is assisting the family.    Harriet was born in Hinkley Minnesota to Frank and Elsie (Kline) Orr.  She was married to Merle Frank from 1946 until his passing in 1994.  Harriet was married to Thomas Stevens from 2003 until his passing in 2006.    Harriet enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling, going with friends to gamble and play bingo.  She was an avid bird watcher.    Harriet is survived by her three sons and their wives Ron (Pat) Frank, Tim (Debbie) Frank of Dakota City, and Dan (Pat) Frank of Boyd, Texas; seven daughters and their husbands Karen (Robert) McKernan, Janet (Gary) Johnson, Donna (Doyle) Kelly, all of South Sioux City, Marge (Keith) Atkins, Cindy (Robert) Guy, Vickie (Jerry) Hulit, all of Homer, and Carol (Randy) Neal of Dakota City; 34 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and sister Dolly Parker of South Sioux City.    Harriet was preceded in death by her husbands Merle Frank and Thomas Stevens; two grandson, one great-grandson, two brothers, one sister, and her parents.
