Christeena Marie Hodapp

Christeena Marie Hodapp, 49, of Sioux City, IA entered into eternal rest peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at a local hospital.Memorial services will be at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.Christeena was born on April 12, 1969 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Michael and Judith (Andrie) Hodapp. She attended West High School. She lived in Sioux Falls, SD from 1996 to 2009, then moved back to Sioux City. Christeena married John Hattig on December 23, 2005 in Sioux Falls.She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her cats, working crossword puzzles, reading, watching "The Golden Girls" and "Little House on the Prairie". She had the biggest heart and was the most selfless, caring person. She was full of positivity and never passed judgment on anyone.Survivors include her husband, John Hattig of Sioux City; daughters, Samantha Hattig (Spencer Seibold) of Sioux City and Angelia Chacon (Carlos Morales) of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, Aniah, Liam, Elijah, Carmin, Remi, Robin, Zoe and Zion; her father, Michael (Dee) Hodapp of Aurora, CO; step-father, Leonard Elving of Sioux Falls, SD; brother, Jeffrey Cain of Waltham, MA; a host of special brothers and sisters in Aurora, CO; uncle, Robert "Bob" (Sandy) Andrie of Sioux Falls, SD; special friends, Tracy Hattig, Lupe Kayl and Steve Rodgers; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Elving.
