Christine M. Semple

Christine M. Semple, 64, of Elk Point, SD passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at UnityPoint – St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday February 15, 2023 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Christine was born November 3, 1958 to Bill and Shirley (Blake) Semple in Sioux City. She attended West High School and later on got a degree in Medical Secretary at Western Iowa Tech Community College. Throughout her life she was employed at Brookings Hospital until she retired in 2015. Her hands were rarely still as you could always find Christine enjoying her garden. Christine loved to love on her grandchildren and not a day will go by they won’t miss her.

She is survived by her two sons: Christopher (Laura) Robinson of Elk Point, SD, Rudy (Lora) Robinson of Sioux Falls, SD, seven grandchildren: Sebastian Reynolds, Emma Robinson, Cody Robinson, Andrew Polly, Shelby (Mike) Campbell, Colton Robinson, Kallista Robinson, one great-grandchild, Valery Campbell, two brothers, Mark and John Semple, six nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Shirley Semple, two brothers, James Semple and Kevin (Twin Brother) Semple.
